Fresher Party at Capital University Sikkim

On 22th December, the faculty members of Capital University, Jorethang organized a vibrant Fresher's party for the first-year students, marking their initiation into university life with enthusiasm and warmth.

The event kicked off with an invitation to all students to attend in fancy attire, setting a lively and festive tone from the start. As students arrived, they were warmly welcomed by their teachers with traditional khadas and button flowers, a gesture symbolizing respect and good wishes.

Independence Day Celebration

Capital University, Sikkim, proudly celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2024 with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the national anthem, evoking a sense of unity and national pride.

The celebration was graced by esteemed staff members Ms. Diksha Sharma, Mr. Binay Tamang, Bhumika Gurung, Akshita Giri, Akurti Bhandari, Smita Lama, Akancha Rai, Dr. Siwani Pradhan, Shekhar, and Meenita.

The event featured cultural performances, patriotic speeches, and student-led presentations, emphasizing the significance of India’s independence and the responsibility of citizens toward nation-building. The university community actively participated, making the occasion memorable.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of faculty, staff, and students in making the event successful. Everyone pledged to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and progress.
